What is Ultrasound.....? Ultrasound is sound whose frequency is above the range of human hearing. Normally human haring sound range is 20 Hz to 20000 Hz and Ultrasound range is 1 MHz to 20 MHz. Basically sound waves are transmitted into the body and returning echoes can be collected to use form image of body part or that area of Body. What is Piezo-Electric Effect.....? Piezo-Electric effect is simple as converting electric energy into mechanical energy and mechanical energy into electric energy. When an ultrasound transducer produce sound waves in this condition energy conversion is done electric energy into mechanical energy and when its received an echo another conversion is happen that is mechanical energy into electric energy.
