Mindray DC-7

Basic Overview-

           It's a color Doppler machine and it usable for whole body application like obs,  gyn, small parts, kidneys you can also use this machine for cardiac application.
           Mindray machine basically coming with two types of Operating System one is Linux and  another is Windows in Windows OS Machine can use any type of printer but in Linux OS you only add the listed printer that list is available in the Linux base machine. Mindray DC-7 having Windows XP OS..

          its comes with LCD monitor with contrast and brightness controlling buttons. You can also adjust it with monitor support arm to position up and down. This system is comes with various input and output connector like USB, VGA output, DVI output,  Ethernet RJ45 connector, S-Video, BNC connector, Audio Stereo output etc. It has user-friendly control panel and alphanumeric keyboard. this machine also having touch screen to perform the operation faster.

Boards of Mindray DC-7

a) Probe Board-

          There  are two types of probe board available in Mindray DC-7. One is single 4D socket and another is double 4D socket. It means it has 2 4D socket and you can attached 2 4D probe to the machine. Probe board are basically use for selecting the probe and recognise probe id(To validate the probe).

b) Transmission Board-

          Transmission board is used for the generating high voltage and low voltage pulse. It also generate the programmable high voltage and given it to power supply of machine.

c) Amplifier Board-

          Amplifier board is used for voltage controlled gain amplification of small signal echo also it has high voltage isolation circuit, channel analog multiplexer, primary voltage-controlled gain amlification circuit and secondary amplification circuit.

d) Beamformer Board-

          It is used for AD sampling, beamforming, radio signal processing, Doppler signal processing flow signal processing, video signal processing and generating scan control signal.

e)Digital Board-

          Digital board is used for pre processing the echo area. To store the data and uploads in echo mode, it also used for data scan conversion. it convert the LVDS to VGA and analog video. The CPU of machine is placed on the digital board. Therefore digital board is controlled all hardware and external connected peripherals devices such as printers, Foot switch etc.

f)4D Board-

          Its  amplifying 4D signal and capturing temperature, angle signal of probe. 4D board is placed on the system motherboard of DC-7 machine.

g)Power Supply-

          DC-7 Power supply are made from four combination of boars i.e PHV Board, -5v Board, +5v Board, PFC Board.

          

TroubleShooting of Mindray DC-7 Machine

a)Power  Supply-

          If there is no power in the machine you need to check first voltage is coming and correct. Then check the connections of transformer. If the power is on and standby indication isn't on at that time check the connection wires and replace the PFC board. Image is abnormal and machine is running good then you need to replace PHV/-5v board.

b)4D Board-

          If the 4D is not working properly then following cause might be happen, 4D Board logic version information cannot be obtained when check the system information or the information is not correct. Therefore you need to check software information is match to machines need. If this problem was found you need to reconfigure 4D board or replace the 4D board.

c)Touch Screen-

          When you click on the touch screen and no response from screen then you needs to check cables of touch screen control board or calibrate the touch screen.

d)LCD Monitor-                                                                                                                                           If the Monitor having any kind of no signal(Total black screen) and there is only power indicator is glowing in orange then you need to replace the digital because this situation happen when digital board is faulty or no signal from digital board. Other care is orange indicator are blinking fast or continuously then you replace the Monitor its sign of monitor is damaged or faulty.
